1890 Map of Heliograph Stations

     A 1890 Map of over fifty  Heliograph stations in Arizona and New Mexico.  During the Geronimo Campaign of 1886, the first 24 of these stations were used.  These included 12 of the more southerly stations in Arizona, and 12 of the more westerly stations in New Mexico.  Geronimo surrendered to General Miles in Skeleton Canyon south of Old Camp Rucker, (Station 26 in extreme SE corner of Arizona).  Map has been revised by to reflect local cities, towns etc.
